TINA OLSEN
After growing up in Springfield, MA, Tina traveled widely and eventually moved to New York where she taught art at the Walden School and worked therapeutically with the arts at the South Beach Psychiatric Center on Staten Island for many years. When she moved to Brattleboro, VT to live near her daughter, she immersed herself in her painting and found a community of artists at the River Gallery School.
“I have been able to look back and see how my work reflects the time and place when it was created, while at the same time, living in Vermont has brought me closer to nature and that has opened my art to pure abstraction.” ~Tina Olsen
